premium leather heavy duty 7" wide leather back cinch with 1 3/4" billet straps and girth connector strap. This rear cinch set includes the off billets so you can easily attach to your western saddle.
Western back cinch, or rear girths help the saddle from coming off of the back and forward onto the wither. Originally it was used more for cattle roping, to prevent the saddle from tilting forward when the rope was attached to the horn or the calf yanked the rider forward. It also helps to keep the front of the saddle from tilting forward and damaging the wither during long trail rides with climbing and descending hills. We recommend using a cinch connector that attaches to the girth to prevent it from sliding too far backward.
